Final Pictures of Alice in Wonderland at Ormond Primary School

Here are the final pictures of the Alice in Wonderland Mural at Ormond Primary School
Most of the artwork made by the children and also the larger characters made by children based on children;s interpretations of the characters ( except for white rabbit and march hare which I had to made at the end when we ran out of time).
The mural also celebrates the 125th birthday of Ormond Primary School.
This is a whole school project and each child made an artwork for the project, ranging from, card men, birthday candle characters, roses and flowers, decorated tiles, cups, jugs, and the larger characters.
Well done everybody, we did good!!!!

Onto the wall!

The mural is now being slowly constructed on the wall.
The left side of the mural which goes above the entrance to the prep area will be done in the school holidays. So you should all get a nice surprise when you come back from the mid year holidays!

Day 6 - whipping out more large characters and white roses, cupcakes and more tiles painted by the school staff.

A very busy day with about fourteen tiles painted today, in the early morning, recess, lunch and after school by staff members. Progress was made with painting the mad hatter and making Alice, based on artworks by students. Then Debbie had to quickly make some more characters, so that they didn't miss out on being in the mural! Grade sixes made white roses with red paint on them, cupcakes, leaves and stems. We have almost completed all of the claywork for our mural.
